Drayer Physical Therapy Institute has opened an outpatient physical therapy center in Leeds, Ala., its 20th in the state.
The center, at 1115 Payton Way, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays with evening and weekend appointments available. The center’s phone number is 205-699-8280.
The center’s specialties are manual therapy, sports medicine, orthopedics, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ rehabilitation, gait training, occupational rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, and spinal traction therapy.
Physical therapist Christene Tran is the center manager, the position she also holds at Drayer’s Greystone center at 2823 Greystone Commercial Blvd., Birmingham.
A former soccer player at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Tran is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, which describes itself as the world’s leading educational organization and research facility dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.
Tracy Causey and Donnie Smith are regional vice presidents for the Leeds center.
