DRAYER PHYSICAL THERAPY INSTITUTE OPENS TWO OUTPATIENT PHYSICAL THERAPY CENTERS IN ALABAMA

Drayer Physical Therapy Institute has opened its second center in Gardendale, Ala and its first in Calera, Ala., totaling 19 in the state.

The Calera center, at 80 Highway 304, is open Monday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached at 205-668-6900. The second Gardendale location, at 2215 Decatur Highway, Suite 125, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and can be reached at 205-285-8790.

Both centers specialties include manual therapy, sports medicine, post-operative rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, orthopedics, occupational rehabilitation, gait training, spinal traction therapy, neurological rehabilitation, and TMJ rehabilitation.

Physical therapist Kaitlin Carlson is the center manager in Calera.  Joining physical therapist Stephen Guthrie, who is the center manager in Gardendale, is Samantha Phillips, physical therapy assistant.

Overall, Hummelstown, Pa.-based Drayer owns or manages more than 100 centers in the eastern United States, including nearly 20 in Alabama.
