Strength Training for the Endurance Athlete: What’s the Evidence?

Does your exercise routine need some variety? Do you want to learn about how and why to implement strength training into your current routine? Therapists at our Lancaster Center will be holding an hour-long seminar to discuss the importance of including strength training and functional mobility work in your exercise routine. There will be both lecture and demonstration of systematic progressions for lower body, upper body and core based exercises. We will focus on the importance of strength training for injury prevention and performance enhancement. This is a great opportunity to learn more about strength training and how you may be misusing it in your current program.
